George began his architectural career prior to World War II at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. After serving his country with distinction during World War II and staying behind to assist in supervising the post-war rebuilding of Stuttgart, Germany, George came home to resume his dream of becoming an architect. In 1953, he founded George Hodosh Associates – Architects in Somerset, Massachusetts. Under his leadership, the firm designed homes; residential developments; retail stores and restaurants, including national chains; banks; offices; municipal buildings and more, throughout the United States.
